Precision. This is realised in the tig welding helmet G5-02 by the most advanced electronics ever. The four arc sensors activate the G5-02 welding filter even at very low TIG settings (e.g. 1 ampere), thus meeting pr ISO 16321 TIG+ standards. You can fully concentrate on the welding process instead of the welding equipment.
Sight: Research among professional TIG welders made it clear that the preferred aperture is curved with a 2:1 aspect ratio. A wider view is appreciated more than a higher view. The only way to achieve this is to invent a curved welding filter. And that is exactly what they did at 3M. This resulted in the innovative welding helmet G5-02 with Curved Glass Technology.
The G5-02 offers you not only more visibility, but also better visibility. Because in the G5-02 3M has Natural Colour Technology applied. This makes the colours brighter and more realistic in both the light (2.5!) and dark modes. And a more realistic image gives better control over your arc.
Comfort: The G5-02 welding helmet stands out due to its low weight. The centre of gravity is also closer to the middle of the head, resulting in better weight distribution. Also, a better evacuation of the exhaled air ensures less heat and humidity, which contributes to a more comfortable feeling.
