In 2012 I came Metaaltechniekin with a backpack full of experience in the construction world. After a thorough familiarisation period including a number of internal and external training courses, I was ready to help the metal world with advice and top products.

Advising on this is best done on the shop floor. Make an inventory of the current working method and from there look for where there is still something to be gained by improving productivity. If I can do that, I'll have achieved my goal.

Deburring, polishing, sanding or milling, I'm sure I can help you a few steps further. With more than 25 years of experience in the metal industry, I dare to take on any challenge. I started at Metaaltechniek1-2-2020 as a Sales Engineer. With more than 30 years of experience in surface engineering and finishing Ferro and Non-Ferro metals, as a buyer and consumer of grinding, polishing and safety equipment, I wanted to know more about the materials and machines used in the metal processing industry. In order to make optimal use of the right tools and materials together with the consumers in this market.

Because Metaaltechniek is a specialist supplier of all sanding and grinding resources and machines, we as a team can give you optimal advice on which resources you can best use to achieve the desired result. Whereby we look at process optimization, process speed, employee job satisfaction, and safety. So that you as a customer can save costs.

It was in the summer of 1986 that I joined (then Metaaltechniekstill based in Almere) and became responsible for all logistics and was able to deepen myself in the technology of pneumatic tools.

The pleasure of a challenge.

After having done this work for a number of years, I was able to put all the knowledge I gained about the products into practice with the customers and thus grew into a commercial field service position. Over the years I have continued to grow Metaaltechniekand now I am able to advise and assist the other colleagues in the field to achieve the optimal result for our customers.

I still do my job with a lot of fun and give it a kick when it turns out that our advice turned out to be the best!

After working as a machinist/operator for four years, I left the shop floor and started working in account support. Over the past five years, I have developed my skills in process optimization through specialized training. Armed with both practical and process knowledge, I decided in 2024 to leverage my experience and make the move into sales. Back in my old world, but now on the advisory side, armed with my process experience.

After two years of hands-on experience as a grinder and polisher, I have built a solid foundation in working with abrasives, grinding agents, and polishing compounds, as well as the corresponding machinery. By Metaaltechniek specialized courses at Metaaltechniek and continuing to expand my knowledge, I am always able to provide the most appropriate advice.

After 17 years of experience in the automotive industry, I made the switch to Metaaltechniek in May 2023 . From my previous field sales position, abrasives and grinding tools are no stranger to me. At Metaaltechniek I get the opportunity to take courses and gain practical experience to deepen my knowledge. Together with the years of experience of my colleagues, we arrive at the best solution.
