Suhner: Innovation from tradition, manufacturer of special industrial tools and special components, developed to optimize uw productieproces.
Gottlieb Suhner started producing accessories for textile machines in his own workshop in 1864, laying the foundation for today's Suhner Group. Much has changed and developed since then - stability, continuity and quality still determine our entrepreneurial thinking and actions.
The high qualification and motivation of our employees are the key to our success. In this way, we will continue to maintain our know-how as leading experts in specialized markets.
Since Otto Suhner started producing flexible shafts in 1914 because of his experience in wire trading in Brugg in the canton of Aargau, the company has developed steadily. A phase of product innovation under Willy O. Suhner was followed by a phase of internationalization under Otto H. Suhner, who today is the world leader in quality in selected industrial niche markets.
Since 2014, Jürg Suhner has been the CEO of global company Suhner, which employs around 700 people.
The Suhner Group consists of 4 parts which are Metaaltechnieklogically linked to the large portfolio of machines for the metalworking industry. Thanks to its own development department, Suhner is able to respond quickly to the needs of the market.
Developing efficient and energy-saving machines is a claim we consistently live for. Naturally, the various safety aspects worldwide are taken into account. Quality products - made in Switzerland and the EU.
Suhner has a wide range of unique machines in its range that make grinding and finishing work much easier, especially in the stainless steel processing industry. Think of the weld sharpener. Combined with an SCD disk, you can effortlessly finish an inside corner class. On the tube grinder we put a Scotch Brite band and in one movement a stainless steel banister becomes a nice brushed eye-catcher.
The concept of the flexible axis is one with many advantages. A variety of jobs usually means a range of different machines and tools. Not so with Suhner flexible shaft machines. The machine separates the drive unit and the tool itself. The advantage of this is that the user does not have to hold the weight of the motor in his hands, only the tool. This results in less fatigue and more freedom of operation. In addition, with a Suhner flexible spindle machine it is often possible to machine hard-to-reach areas.
