Speed glass Welding filter with colour technology

The Speedglas welding hood G5-01 is available with welding filter G5-01VC (Variable Colour) with adjustable dark colours 5 (grinding) and 8-14. You can choose between natural (A), cool (B) or warm shades (C) for your dark position. You decide which colour provides the best viewing contrast for your welds and which colour gives the most eye comfort. The operation of this filter is explained in this video.

For TIG welders, a separate filter is available, the so-called TW filter (TIG-Welding), which resembles the familiar XXi filter, the filter for natural colour reproduction. This welding filter also has adjustable dark colours 5 (grinding) and 8 to 13 and is equipped with an adhesive welding mode.

Speed glass helmet tube system: control your airflow

With the new distribution system in the helmet, users can direct the airflow to their face or visor, and control how much air comes in from the top and how much from the two sides. You are now in control of the airflow. Personalise your settings, enjoy the cooling effect of the airflow while you find the balance with drying out your nose or eyes. All adjustments can be made while wearing the helmet, so that your eyes, face and breathing remain continuously protected.

The welding helmet can be connected to the 3M Adflo motorized protection for a TH-3 class respiratory protection (NPF500). For conditions where air supply is required, the 3M Versaflo control valves can be used.

Speedglas G5-01 is equipped with grinding visor for seamless change between grinding and welding

The flip-up function of the welding filter allows you to seamlessly alternate between welding and grinding while maintaining motor-driven respiratory protection. The clear visor allows you to set up, inspect and move around your workplace without having to remove the face shield or break the positive pressure seal of the respirator.

Speedglas G5-01 is optionally available with a light for illumination on the workpiece

A new optional light on the helmet gives you hours of powerful light so that welders can work in poorly lit areas. This lightweight lamp runs on the Adflo battery and gives a wide beam of light at work. You can regulate the light intensity yourself.
