The training of personnel to become qualified workers is an opportunity to cope with the shortage on the labour market or even to exploit it. Metaaltechniek responds to the need for personal development by offering training courses for metalworking companies.
First of all, well-trained and motivated personnel is a prerequisite for quality and speed of work. Employees are the most important asset". Investing in personnel is necessary, fun and delivers loyal and loyal employees. That's why investing in people is always the right choice.
In times of a tight labour market, finding and keeping these "golden hands" is a challenge for any company.
Everyone recognises that a quality product starts with good staff. At the same time, there is often a lack of time to invest in training. Because one day of training means one day less production. Still, there are very good reasons to make room for this.
People with a passion for their profession would like to develop themselves further. If their employer stimulates this development, this is seen as enormously positive. By continuing to offer training in various areas, an employer creates loyalty among its staff. In this way (external) training becomes a binding agent.
Another advantage of training is that new knowledge is brought into the company. Where imposed innovations can meet resistance from above (is there something wrong with how I do it? I've been doing it like this for years and it works fine) can honestly arouse curiosity about acquired knowledge and break through entrenched patterns.
Metaaltechniek has responded to the need for training. That is why the Metaaltechniek Academy, also known as METAC, was founded in 2017. Here, small-scale training courses are given with a maximum group size of six people. This gives the participants a lot of personal attention and because they can work with their own materials, the training fits in seamlessly with their daily work.
The most important principles within METAC are increasing productivity and reducing errors. Together with you, we determine the goals in advance. We learn skills and share knowledge so that people can work more efficiently and come up with solutions in new situations.
But an equally important element is the standardization of processes. Together we determine the quickest route to the desired end result. Each step is recorded in a protocol that can be used by everyone in the workshop. A constant finish and quality is thus guaranteed and made less dependent on the skills of a single person.
We made a short movie about the METAC. Here we explain what we do in METAC and what the power of training is. Watch the movie here
