How long have you been changing the grinding modules on your Lissmac abrasive belt? What if you can do it much faster and with less hassle? Just with a click system? Look, these are innovations that will immediately benefit you. Choose the sanding material and/or grinding fleece you want on the pads. Actually, anything is possible.
The Lissmac deburring machines are equipped with a number of aggregates equipped with a reusable power belt with grinding modules. Depending on the execution of the Lissmac machine, there can be up to 8 belts on one machine, each containing about 80 blocks of abrasive material. A quick calculation shows that 640 grinding modules have to be changed when changing the belts. The common method is to just do that with a screwdriver. Unscrew the block, screw on the new block and do it 640 times. A long, time-consuming and boring job.
With the new quick-release system this is many times easier and faster to achieve. A time saving that can amount to several hours per machine.
What is also important for the optimal performance of the Lissmac machine is the grinding material on the blocks. Too often we see that a manufacturer delivers a universal belt that performs reasonably on every application. It is certainly worth investigating if this is the best band for your application. Do you still need to remove oxide film, do you process steel or aluminium, is the final finish important or is it important to remove the material quickly? The answers to these questions determine the choice of the tyre. Because with our belts there is a large choice of abrasive material: from a simple aluminium oxide grit to machining with CubitronII, with soft sanding fleece for contours to a hard combination for more material removal. The right abrasive material determines the productivity of your machine!
Let us advise you on which abrasive is most suitable for you. Abrasive linen in various qualities can be combined with non-woven abrasives. Choosing the right combination can often save you time. For example, because the desired finish can be achieved in one step or the throughput speed can be increased.
