ATA has a nice compact machine in its product line that is used in combination with a deburring disc or possibly a flap disc. Because an angle grinder is also often used with a fiber wheel, we started a conversation with ATA to see if they could modify the machine so that it would also be suitable for use with a fiber wheel. For this, the spindle had to be modified to an M14x20.5 mm. At the same time, the air inlet was also changed from 1/4" to 3/8". The larger fitting allows more air into the motor to generate the required power. The flange was also modified so that the fiber disc gives as little vibration as possible.
