3M™ introduces a new sanding belt to the market, the 1184F! A sanding belt for heavy machining and cooler grinding! For the first time 3M applies a developed variant of the CubitronII grit. The familiar triangular mineral is no longer a tight isosceles triangle but is cut slimmer with an even sharper point.
Features of the 3M 1184F sanding belt at a glance:
- Faster cutting action helps increase productivity.
- Longer life means fewer turnouts and thus less downtime.
- Cool grinding and requires less pressure resulting in less metal discoloration and risk of stress cracking.
- Grinding-aid: an additional coating for reduced heat when grinding on heat-sensitive metals such as nickel and stainless steel.
