In-house Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative, you are the commercial heart of our organization. Because you speak German just as fluently as Dutch, you can help us achieve our goal of conquering the German market. Your role is therefore slightly different from that of your colleagues. Together with the sales and marketing teams, you are part of our dedicated Germany team.

You’ll delve into the market, identify opportunities, and actively reach out to potential customers. Your goal? To schedule valuable appointments for our field sales team. In addition, you’ll manage our German client base together with your field sales representative. You’ll also pitch in with the day-to-day operations of the sales department. No two days are the same—so it’s nice and varied. Who are you in your role as an Inside Sales Representative?

You're someone who..:

  • is passionate about the customer. The customer comes first, and that’s what you’re all about! You’re customer-friendly, business-minded, and persuasive
  • has an excellent command of both Dutch and German.
  • is curious and wants to learn.
  • He is confident and knows how to persevere.
  • Experience in the metal industry in any capacity.

In addition, you bring the following:

  • At least an MBO-4 level of work and thinking.
  • Experience in developing a new market.
  • Experience with administrative processes.
  • Interested in our products and a desire to learn about them.
  • Proficiency in Excel.

What will you be doing as an inside sales representative?

  • You are the first point of contact for our customers: you advise them, keep them informed, and turn their needs into concrete solutions. Thanks to you, our customers keep coming back!
  • Supporting the field sales team. You’ll be paired with a colleague in the field sales team. Together, you’ll be responsible for clients in Germany and beyond. You’ll assist your colleague by processing visit reports, preparing quotes, handling complaints, and developing new initiatives. Together, you’ll review the past week and discuss what needs to be done in the coming period.
  • You identify business opportunities and contribute ideas on market approach and customer strategy, with a focus on new customers in Germany
