Besides a great deal of knowledge, Metaaltechniek supplies a total package in milling, sanding, grinding and polishing. With our strong brands, our large stock and 24h delivery service, Metaaltechniek helps to reduce your stock and optimise your production. Use our years of experience as an extension of your production.
 

With our enthusiastic team we are working on our mission: to be the best technical wholesaler in the Netherlands. We do this together with 23 motivated employees and we are looking for the 24th colleague. Is that you?

Wat ga jij als vertegenwoordiger bij ons doen?  

Als vertegenwoordiger of Sales Engineer kom je in ons buitenteam met 5 gezellige collega’s terecht. Voor onze klanten is het belangrijk dat ze (proactief) advies krijgen. Zo kunnen ze zo efficiënt mogelijk werken. Jij bent er om onze klanten (pro)actief advies te geven over innovaties die ze kunnen toepassen binnen het bedrijf.

Further:

  • build long-term relationships with our customers;
  • You will maintain relationships with our clients and build relationships at all management levels of the company;
  • test innovations regularly in our test and demonstration room so that you can give customers the best advice;
  • You will learn about our product range through both internal and external training courses;
  • Together with your team, you take care of customers: quotations, trial deliveries, demos and orders;
  • you work supportively in the METAC (our training center) when you have accumulated enough knowledge.

What do we ask of you as a Sales Engineer?

You are creative and have several years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the metal industry. Consulting and building and maintaining relationships is important during this position. You excel at negotiating and have no problem with cold acquisition. In fact, this is an essential part of building your customer base and working area. Additionally:

  • Do you have a mbo+ working and thinking level;
  • are customer-oriented;
  • You are good at persuading others and have excellent listening skills;
  • you have a good oral command of the Dutch language; knowledge of the English and German languages can sometimes be useful;
  • For this vacancy you will live in your working area: roughly south of Rotterdam, Zeeland and part of North Brabant.

 A test on the above items is part of the application process.
