Will you be the new grinding specialist in the northern Netherlands for our family business?

You’ll advise our customers on the shop floor and conduct demonstrations to help them further optimize their grinding process.

What will you be doing as a Sales Engineer with us?  

You’ll be joining a field service team of seven friendly colleagues who work together seamlessly. You’ll visit clients in the region, build relationships, and help them succeed by providing practical, honest, and technical advice. No empty promises—just knowing what you’re talking about and working alongside the people on the front lines.

You’ll showcase new products and give demonstrations to customers as well as in our own testing and demonstration area. You’ll test innovations, attend training sessions, and get to know our product range inside and out. This will enable you to help our customers work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.

In between, you and your team will handle quotes, sample deliveries, demos, and orders. And when you’re ready, you’ll also get involved with METAC—our in-house training center.

In short: a role that combines technical expertise, business acumen, autonomy, and customer interaction.

What skills do you bring to the table as a Sales Engineer?

You have experience in B2B sales, preferably in the metal industry and with abrasive materials. You enjoy building relationships and providing advice, and you’re not afraid to call or visit new clients. You’re a skilled negotiator, but above all: you know how to listen and ask the right questions.

In addition:

  • Do you have a bachelor's degree or at least an associate's degree-level of work and thinking?
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch language;
  • It’s helpful to know English (and sometimes German) as well;
  • Do you live in the following area: generally Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe?
